Summary of changes in the errata for Amendment 35-10

IMO have published an errata to Amendment 35-10 of the IMDG Code.

The current digital versions of the IMDG Code are fully compliant with IMDG Code Amdt 35-10 and will be upgraded to incorporate the errata early in 2012.

A minor update to the IMDG Code has been issued. The changes are very minor, and mostly correct misprints in the book. The only changes users are likely to notice are:-

UN 2590 has an LQ value of 5 kg

UN 3319 becomes packing group II (it formerly had no packing group)

UN 3132 packing groups II and III gain packing provision PP40. Packing instruction P406 listed these UN numbers as being covered by PP40, but the Dangerous Goods List did not.

UN 3483 Motor fuel anti-knock mixture, flammable is listed as a lead compound and heavy metal compound.

In the index, Aviation gasoline is deleted and the entry for Trinitrotoluol, wetted is corrected.
